lioness _WRITES "Despite the Berkeley City Council's failed attempt to pass a resolution to make it the law of the city to divest from and boycott Israel until the Occupation is ended, the Berkeley City Council is now working on another resolution that will simply make a Statement calling for an end to the Occupation, and perhaps involve more wording condemning Israel's aggression against the Palestinians in its quest for a "Greater Israel" (ie. continuing its endeavors to take over all the land of the Palestinians.) More info on this Statement to come within a few weeks.
