By wishing for a future Palestinian state to be the complete opposite to Israel, you would deny it a vibrant parlimentary system where minorities a represented by their own parties. You would deny it the self belief to judge it''s own faults openly like no othr country would have done (ie the Khan Commision into Sabra and Shatila). You would deny it a free press and vocal opposition. Basically you would deny it democracy which is no surprise as it would then feel at home with it''s other neighbours Syria, Lebanon, Jordan et al.
